Our Toddler Summer Bucket List & Free Printable!

Calling all my mama’s of busy toddlers!  If you have a little boy, you especially know how nuts they can get when they have too much time on their hands.  Ever since Asher turned about 18 months he has become a wild man on the loose when we are home without much to do.  I quickly found he is happiest when we are busy doing things so going into our first summer with a two year old, I wanted to have a plan!  I decided to create a bucket list of summer activities for toddlers we can do to keep busy!  And guess what?!?!  I am sharing our bucket list with all of you so you don’t have to reinvent the wheel.  Feel free to download and print this list for yourself to keep busy this summer with your little guy or gal 🙂

Activities to do with your toddler this summer

  1. Pool time
  2. Ice cream dates
  3. Water balloons
  4. Popsicle crafts
  5. Make lots of smoothies
  6. Father’s Day celebration
  7. Go to the zoo
  8. Baseball crafts
  9. Sidewalk chalk
  10. Fourth of July celebration
  11. Grillin with daddy
  12. Make home made popsicles
  13. Summer library reading
  14. Movie date
  15. Backyard water fun

Once we make it through this first set of activities, I will be coming up with more for us to do and will share with you.  I am praying we can squeeze in a small family vacation or two in there as well but will will just have to see about that-traveling with two kids under two is an entirely different obstacle in itself!  What do you have planned with your tiny humans this summer?  Especially those of your in warmer climates- how do you combat the heat and still keep your little ones busy over the summer?  I would love to hear in the comments for additional ideas!
