Thursday’s are all about making tasty treats at our house this summer! Today, I put Asher to work with me in the kitchen and we made the perfect toddler approved popsicles with no added sugar! I had some extra pineapple leftover in the fridge and an apple juice box provided in yesterday’s kids meal and Apple Pineapple Berry popsicles were born!
Asher eats a very limited amount of sugar so store-bought treats are typically a bit too sweet for him which I LOVE. So when he has things like popsicles or juice, I make them myself with fresh fruits for natural sweetness. You can go ahead and serve these puppies to your toddler all summer long knowing they are basically just blended up fruit! WIN!
Every Thursday this summer, we will be whipping up other tasty treats so I am excited to see what other concoctions we experiment with. If they make the cut, I will share them here so you can make them for your little guy or gal too.
Please note: these will not be very sweet and will resemble an “ice pop” in texture.
I hope your little enjoys these as much as mine did!
Quick and easy, these are sure to be a hit with your little one. And with no added sugar- you can serve them guilt-free all summer long!
Add all 3 ingredients to a high speed blended and pulse until smooth. Pour into your popsicle molds and freeze 3-4 hours until solid.
These popsicles will not be very sweet as they only contain the natural sugar from the fruit and what the apple juice adds. They are still delicious and are sure to be a hit with your toddler- especially if they are not used to eating much sugar like mine 🙂
