I have become a little obsessed with living a natural lifestyle. Years ago, I started switching out our household cleaners and toiletries in an effort to reduce the chemicals around our home. When Asher was born, I really started paying close attention to the ingredients of the things we eat, digest, or inhale from products. Living a chemical-free lifestyle can become pretty costly so finding ways to reduce the toxic load in our home inexpensively is important to me. I am all about a good DIY so this stainless steel lemon cleaner made from all natural ingredients spoke to my heart.
This cleaner is extremely easy to make! Lemon is the star of the show in this all natural cleaner and it really works you guys! Citrus is a well known ingredient to use in household cleaners so having the purity of the lemon essential oil really gives this cleaner power! And the other ingredient is vinegar which we know for its natural cleaning abilities. The cleaner smells great too 🙂
If you are an essential oils user, then you know how potent they are so you will want to store this DIY cleaner in an Empty Amber Glass Spray Bottle. Some other fun things to know about lemon- it cleanses the body inside and helps with digestion. It is also known to promote a positive mood and assist with respiratory issues. I use this oil combined with lavender and peppermint daily as a natural allergy relief. You can also cook with it!
We still are not 100% chemical free but we are pretty darn close at this point! I plan to eventually replace the expensive chemical free products I am currently purchasing to all DIY plant-based cleaners. They really are genius!

Wow, Tasha! That absolutely did the trick. I have lemon, I love diffusing it to make for a fresh clean smelling kitchen. Now I will have to try using it for cleaning my stainless steel and other cleanings.
