I received the Dockatot Grand compliments of Dockatot. All thoughts/opinions are 100% my own
So the million dollar question all mamas to be want to know- is the Dockatot worth it? Today I am sharing with you the top 5 reasons why the Dockatot is worth the splurge! With so many baby products on the market, it is daunting to determine which items are actually worth the hype and which are flops especially when you are a first time mom. Since the Dockatot is considered a pricey baby item, I understand the importance of wanting to know more before making the decision to purchase. As a mom of two under two, I think it is safe to say that I know a thing or two about baby products and as always, you can trust I am going to give it to you straight.
I highly recommend the Dockatot for this very reason. It serves so many purposes from playtime and lounging to co-sleeping! The Dockatot also comes in two sizes. The Deluxe which is suitable from birth to 8 months and the Grand size which goes from 9-36 months. I used the Deluxe exclusively until my son was over 6 months. It was the only thing he slept in! Additionally, both my boys can use the Grand because they both are in the 9-36 month age range making docks a must-have item for parents of 2 under 2! Also, the Grand size is perfect for toddler bed transitions to prevent those dreaded falls!
The padding and cushions used in the Dockatot are top notch! Your little one will be happy and comfortable whether lounging in the dock while you get dinner ready or when used for naps and sleeping for the night. If I could crawl up into the the dock and sleep, I would!
This is huge for me as I am very particular about the products and food I expose my babies to. The Dockatot is tested for breathability and is OEKO-TEX certified. Additionally, it is made of 100% natural cotton and is the ideal micro-climate for babies and toddlers! You can trust your baby is safe when they are snoozing inside a Dockatot.
If you are like me, I swore I would never co-sleep prior to becoming a parent. Well that went out the window after reality settled in from nursing around the clock. Co-sleeping makes things so much easier for nursing mamas but can be considered unsafe. The Dockatot is perfect for co-sleeping because it helps ensure your little one is safely secured in his/her own area of the bed. You don’t have to worry about them rolling out of it or you rolling onto them due to the raised sides. Just remember to keep blankets and other loose items away from the baby when sleeping just as you would when they are sleeping in the crib.
We cart the Dockatot all over the house for napping and lounging. The Dockatot is also travel friendly which is awesome for when your baby is away from home. They will have the security and familiarity of their Dockatot wherever they go and that alone is worth the splurge in my book! Additionally, it is easy to keep the Dockatot clean because the covers are easy to remove for washing. You can also purchase additional covers to have on hand and they come in so many adorable prints to showcase your personality!
If you have been on the fence about whether or not the Dockatot is worth the splurge, I hope I have helped you make the decision to go ahead and pull the trigger! We get so much use from our Docks that I cannot recommend this baby item enough!

I didn’t buy one for my oldest but you’ve totally convinced me to buy the Grand when I transition Josie to her big girl bed! Great post mama!
That is great! I know Josie will love it 🙂
