I am totally failing at Fall. My favorite season and here I am JUST now getting up my bucket list and starting to enjoy some of the things I wanted to make sure and do with my family this time of the year. In my defense, the weather was weird here in Texas for a few weeks. I’m talking 40 degree temps and nonstop rain. It really put a damper on things- no pun intended 😉
For starters, both my boys had colds. Which turned into my hubby and I having colds. So it is now the end of October and I am just now getting into the full spirit of all things FALL. I finally decorated our front porch this week which I shared decor inspiration in this post. Here is here my tiny porch turned out. And can you spot a certain someone peeking through the window?
One thing I have made sure to do is drink a ton of Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Apple Cider. And I have already made a loaf of banana pumpkin bread- REDEMPTION!
It is not anywhere near perfect but it will do and will transition nicely into Thanksgiving. I was able to throw it together for less than $20 thanks to using a lot of things I already had. I hope my porch and the others I used in the previous post gives you the inspiration you need to jazz up your small porch too!
We tackled one of our bucket list items this past weekend and that was a visit to the pumpkin patch! Asher was not in such a good mood during the visit but we made the best of it! He started to warm up toward the end and really enjoyed the large slides and the wagon ride.
I made sure to take one of my Apolis totes along on the trip. Not only are these totes amazing in every way, but I love supporting companies who have a mission to give back and Apolis business model is all about creating social change worldwide. I have two and I am obsessed! They are so big and sturdy so I take them everywhere. And you can customize the totes to say whatever you want which is pretty cool.
I’m hoping that we have kicked colds out of our home for good for a while and can enjoy the remainder of the Fall season leading up through my favorite holiday- Christmas! I’m excited to cross more things off our bucket list this season.
What’s on your bucket list this Fall?
